I met you, I trusted you-
You were the stoppage to my flight.
All of a sudden all went wrong and-
Broken strings never unite.

Time was passing on fine,
In the midway, we had a fight,
I wanted to solve it but I remembered-
Broken strings never unite.

I didn't know where I went wrong;
When we were supposed to have a future bright,
What came in between us all along?
Why do broken strings never unite?

When we were so pleased together,
Happiness was to an unreachable height.
Some unknown fault barred the way-
Broken strings never unite.

I let you in my world,
With a hope, you'd be the light-
But you left my life with darkness,
Broken strings never unite.

I promised I'd never leave,
But not that things would always be right.
Yet you left so early and-
Broken strings never unite.

I tried to reach deep into the cause,
With all my hope and might-
But you covered them from the top and;
Broken strings never unite.

I was left away behind,
Confusion troubling me every night,
No way for coming out coz-
Broken strings never unite.

I miss us being us.
I miss our times of delight.
But does it even bother you?
Broken strings never unite.

Even after all this time,
Though broken strings never unite;
With all my heart and soul I want-
Our broken strings to UNITE.
