In Every Breath

In the whispering dawn, where the first light glows,
A symphony of life in quiet beauty flows.
From the tiniest seed in the fertile earth,
To the majestic giants of immeasurable girth.

A world adorned in hues and shades,
Where every creature in harmony parades.
The canopy green, the ocean’s blue,
The deserts gold, the skies’ infinite hue.

Each species a note in nature’s grand song,
Where the weak and the mighty together belong.
In forests dense and meadows wide,
Life’s wondrous tapestry spreads far and wide.

Behold the delicate dance of the butterflies,
The soaring eagles in azure skies.
The coral reefs that beneath waves thrive,
The hidden wonders in caves that dive.

From the icy realms where the polar bear roams,
To the tropical jungles that many call home.
Every niche, a cradle of life,
A testament of nature’s enduring strife.

Yet, amidst this splendor, a shadow looms,
The careless hand of man, which all life dooms.
Forests fall, oceans choke,
The cries of life, now barely a croak.

This day we mark with solemn grace,
A pledge to protect this sacred place.
To cherish each leaf, each feather, each scale,
To heal the wounds from our thoughtless trail.

For in diversity lies strength untold,
A legacy more precious than gold.
A web of life so intricate and vast,
A shared heritage from our ancient past.

Let us rise to the call with hearts renewed,
With reverence for the earth, in gratitude.
For every creature, great and small,
Shares this planet, our home, our all.

So let the rivers run clear and free,
Let the forests thrive, the deserts be.
Let every species flourish in its domain,
For in their survival, we too, remain.

On this International Day for Biological Diversity,
We honor the bond, the profound simplicity.
Of life’s grand mosaic, diverse and complete,
Where every heartbeat, every breath, is sweet.

In the harmony of life, may we find our place,
As stewards of earth, of sky, of space.
To protect, preserve, and celebrate,
The wondrous diversity we hold innate.
