Masked in Smiles, Hidden in Flames

She lives a happy life in the eyes of the world;
Nobody knows what's inside.
With her sparkling dress and her hair perfectly curled,
Nobody sees the tears she cried.

The way she shrugs off misunderstandings,
No one seems suspicious of it.
She acted like it never affected her ranting,
When she knows she just wants to quit.

She lives a perfect life to whoever comes her way,
When she's just another dying soul.
She says, "Don't worry, keep the pain at bay",
When she's eating it right off the bowl.

She knows one day she will finally give up,
When her body and mind is too tired.
She will wait for the day with her hands on her coffee cup,
She will embrace the flames she respired.
