The Symphony of a Sickened Earth

On this day, a pause we take,
A breath held for Earth's sake.
A world adorned in vibrant hues,
Now carries scars, a tapestry of blues.

The forests, once a verdant choir,
Their melody now tinged with fire.
Cracks of smoke rend the azure veil,
Where life once danced, a mournful wail.

The oceans, vast and deep and cool,
Now choked with plastic, a tragic pool.
Coral castles, bleached and pale,
Where vibrant fish once wove a tale.

The glaciers weep, a slow retreat,
Leaving scars on the mountain's feet.
The polar bears, with mournful eyes,
Witness a world where winter dies.

The symphony of nature's song,
Is out of tune, where notes belong.
The buzzing bees, a dwindling hum,
A fragile web, about to come undone.

But hark! A whisper on the breeze,
A chorus rising through the trees.
Voices young and voices old,
A story yet to be told.

Hands that plant a sapling green,
Cleaning rivers, a pristine scene.
Bicycles whir, with laughter bright,
Chasing away the fading light.

Solar panels, catching rays,
Turning darkness into sunlit days.
Wind turbines, giants tall and strong,
Singing a new and hopeful song.

The symphony can start anew,
With actions honest, brave, and true.
Reduce, reuse, and mend with care,
For the Earth, a burden we all share.

Let's turn the tide, the course amend,
Be guardians, not foes, to the very end.
For a future bright, for all to see,
Let's heal the Earth, in harmony.

This World Environment Day, we vow,
To mend the world, here and now.
With every step, with every choice,
We'll raise our voice, for a united voice.

The Earth, a symphony grand and vast,
A masterpiece, forever meant to last.
Let's nurture it with gentle hand,
And heal the wounds across the land.
