Dream on Road
When the occasion comes of enjoying together, a memory flashes in my mind and let's me to question,
"Should I opt for a car, bus or bike.."
This memory goes to the time when we four friends gathered together at a place to visit a fair. But that fair was not so exciting as we thought it might be. Question was, should we go back or..!!
And that hesitation was the stepping stone of our dream trip. 3 girls and 1 guy and what to do was not coming in either of our minds. Suddenly we thought that we came to visit fair right so we should do that.. the fact that the fair was across the river. The guy's bike and scooty was arranged and so were helmets (somehow). I drove with her on scooty.
The scary fact was that none of us had told at home that our destination changed. We had license of driving and hardly any money at hand that time. We started and thankfully no traffic jam was there. We reached the bridge and my heart was beating like crazy. I had always rode with parents or family on bridge but this time I was driving and on top of that I wasn't alone.
All sorts of scary story of accidents and fear rushed to heart. Hah! I was wondering I should return from here as to what might happen. It was fearful but also exiting. My friend kept on encouraging me from behind and thanks to her I was calmed and the bridge ended.
Then came the bumpy road.. it sure was tough driving on that road. When every speed breaker came, sometimes I used to stop in time otherwise my friend on behind used to jump. It was a village area and the air was so fresh, as we lived in city we really liked it a lot. We asked for directions to the fair and people used to say,
"it's just there, it's just there.."
And we travelled another few kilometres. But thankfully we reached the fair. Although we had excitement of seeing the animals as it was supposed to be an animal fair. But we learnt that animals only come in the starting week of the fare while this fair continuous for the whole month.
We visited temples and saw that huge fair for the first time. We also rode Ferris wheel and ate snacks there. Actually I had a slight sprain on my my right ankle but still my friends didn't let me feel that pain during this whole journey.
We bought something for ourselves and I bought a bag of red colour. We had a fun time there but now the question arose, how to go back. The petrol in bike was good but but in scooty it was drained. We collected our little money and refilled it.
As it was the time of winter we had tea on the road side stall. Quite a memorable moment it was. The sun was setting and the cool Breeze was blowing. We all were just like..
"Cheers.."
Again the bridge was in front and I started driving but this time it was funny. We sang throughout the journey on the bridge on the top of our lungs. We were like free birds returning home.
The sky was clear but entering the city again it was cloudy and also drizzle happened. We were soaked. But nothing mattered as the driving together was the whole thing in our minds. We returned home with this memory.
My dream trip on road ended with lots and lots of happiness as it was daring. The precious fact was that I was together with my friends.
