Each day ends the same
I live on the edge of the cliff.
I look into the blue sky.
I couldn’t care less for the earth,
The dirt that has stained me.
So I let this world turn
And drown itself in sleep,
But it takes me everywhere,
And I stay well within it.
Looking out into nothing,
Each day ends the same;
The sun goes down,
I take a breath,
And hold it too deep.
I look into the blue sky.
I couldn’t care less for the earth,
The dirt that has stained me.
So I let this world turn
And drown itself in sleep,
But it takes me everywhere,
And I stay well within it.
Looking out into nothing,
Each day ends the same;
The sun goes down,
I take a breath,
And hold it too deep.
